Mr. Tan Choon Siang

Chief Executive Officer

Assisted by the management, Choon Siang is responsible for executing CMRM's strategy and its day-to-day operations for CLMT.

Soon Yeong Chyan

Mr. Soon Yeong Chyan, 54, Malaysian (Male)

Chief Financial Officer

Yeong Chyan leads the finance team and is responsible for CLMT's financial management functions including the financial and management reporting, taxation, budgeting, treasury and all other finance-related matters.

He started his career with Price Waterhouse, currently known as PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has almost 30 years of working experience in the field of auditing as well as in leading and managing the full spectrum of finance functions of companies involved in various industries including plantation and integrated palm oil manufacturing, property development & investment and investment holdings.

Yeong Chyan holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from University of Malaya. He is a Chartered Accountant in Malaysia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Matthew Loh Woei Lieh

Mr. Matthew Loh Woei Lieh, 41, Malaysian (Male)

Head, Investment

Matthew heads the investment function of the Manager and is responsible for formulating and executing investment and divestment strategies to enhance CLMT's value creation. He leads the team in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, negotiating and executing suitable investment opportunities for CLMT.

Matthew has worked for a reputable conglomerate in Malaysia and a government-linked real estate company in Singapore and China. He has more than 18 years of experience in the real estate industry covering financial feasibility study, due diligence, investment, valuation, capital structuring, strategic planning and regulatory compliance. He obtained his Master of Science in Real Estate Investment Finance (Distinction), Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.

Melaine Ong Sook Mun

Ms. Melaine Ong Sook Mun, 41, Malaysian (Female)

Head, Portfolio Management

Melaine heads the portfolio management function and is responsible for CLMT portfolio's asset formulation, performance optimisation and asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs). She leads a team to spearhead asset management plans, ensure successful deployment of AEIs and actively carry out financial gatekeeping aimed to maximise portfolio value and returns. Responsible for the valuation and capex optimisation of the portfolio, she also works closely with the retail team to provide financial leadership in asset plans.

Melaine has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate and REIT sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, London School of Economics & Political Science, United Kingdom.

Jasmine Loo Pik Kwan Abdullah

Ms. Jasmine Loo Pik Kwan Abdullah, 45, Malaysian (Female)

Head, Investor Relations & Sustainability

Jasmine is responsible for building rapport and facilitating transparent communications with various stakeholders including CLMT's Unitholders, potential and existing institutional investors, analysts and media. She is also responsible for formulating and implementing overall investor relations strategy.

Jasmine has worked in the media and real estate industry for more than 20 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications and media relations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (English Language) from University Putra of Malaysia.

Lee Phaik San

Ms. Lee Phaik San, 36, Malaysian (Female)

Compliance Officer

Phaik San has more than 13 years of experience in the legal profession. She was previously in legal practice for about five years and moved on to the role as an in-house legal counsel for several private limited and public listed corporations. She has experience in matters relating to asset acquisition, corporate financing, property development, strata management, leasing, aviation acquisition and financing, litigation, compliance and corporate advisory. At CMRM, she provides legal and compliance advisory services, handles litigation cases and facilitates seamless communication between the Board and management team on these aspects. She is responsible in ensuring the effective implementation of legal and compliance related policies and measures within CMRM.

Phaik San holds a LLB (Honours) Degree from University of Malaya and is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Phaik San has successfully completed the licensing modules of the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
